My name is Kailey Barlow and I am twenty years old.  I grew up in Big Piney and graduated from Big Piney High School as salutatorian in 2009, but am currently attending college at the University of Wyoming where I am majoring in agricultural business with a double minor in finance and banking financial systems.  To keep busy in Laramie, I am an Ag Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, president of Wyoming Collegiate Cattle Women, and a member of Iron Skull which is the junior honorary on campus.  Aside from school, I am also a youth member of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association.  While home in the summers I spend my time working on the family ranch and in the fair office.  When I find free time I love to ride my horses and help younger kids with their 4-H projects.  Growing up in cattle country has offered me so many great opportunities.  Most recently I was chosen as the 2011 Wyoming Beef Ambassador and will be representing Big Piney, Sublette County, and the great state of Wyoming in Wooster, Ohio later this fall as a contestant at the National Beef Ambassador competition.  The National Beef Ambassador program is a great program that offers a tremendous amount of opportunities to those involved.  As I prepare to attend the competition I welcome any of you to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have about the beef industry.Kailey Barlowkaileybarlow23@gmail.com
